LODGE TO LOOSE PROPERTY



IN ORDER FOR THE GEORGIA DOT TO BUILD THE NEW TALLAPOOSA BYPASS, A TURNING LANE WILL BE CONSTRUCTED WHICH WILL TAKE PART OF THE FRONT PROPERTY OF THE LODGE BUILDING, AND PART OF THE LOWER PARKING LOT.

THE REQUIRED ENTRANCE AND TURNING LANE INTO THE LODGE PARKING LOT WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE GA. DOT. A TEMPORARY EASEMENT FOR THE DOT TO WORK AROUND THE SECTION OF US 78 THAT IS TO BE LOWERED WILL REQUIRE THE RE-LOCATION OF THE UTILITY POLE, WHICH THE DOT WILL COORDINATE.

THIS WORK-AROUND WILL TEMPORARILY INCONVIENIENCE ACCESS TO THE LODGE LOWER PARKING LOT. ONCE CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE, THE LOWER LOT WILL BECOME THE MAIN LODGE PARKING. WITH CONSIDERATION TO MAKING THE PARKING AREA THAT REMAINS IN FRONT OF THE LODGE DESIGNATED AS HANDICAPPED PARKING.

THIS MATTER WILL BE DISCUSSED AT LEGNTH WITH ISSUES BEING VOTED ON SO IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION OR OPINION PLEASE ATTEND THE REGULAR LODGE MEETING FEBRUARY 6.
