The Garden Bench

Come sit with me and while away the hours
We will enjoy these beautiful flowers
Peace and tranquility can be found here
And if we are lucky cupid may appear

Let's put all our bad times away
And just sit here and enjoy a perfect day
This might be a good time to silently pray
And make the gentle ambience of this place stay

The shades of color are all light pastels
And remind me of a beach where I collect shells
The hint of movement of the slightest breeze
Drifts the aroma of the flowers and trees

Drink in all the sights, smells and feeling
Realizing all our dreams will leave us reeling
This could possibly be our Eden garden
And if my words offend I beg your pardon
