Another bath tub test. This time with almost 7 lbs of lead added for test purposes. No leaks found. Removed lead, until after radio equipment is installed. 7 lbs was too heavy. Model could be tilted over 45 degrees and would pop straight back with no ballast weight.

Cannons equipment is installed. After small explosion, I upgraded the plastic lines to thicker rubber lines. The mav-2 valves are from www.Swampworks.com
Radio from Tower Hobby.

I bought a 9 channel pcm 75 mhz Futaba radio. The most expensive part of the whole project. Came with a 7 channel receiver.

Made new carriage for displaying the ship. MVC-062F.JPG (46022 bytes)

Installed rudder servo to the tiller and rudder. MVC-063F.JPG (46987 bytes) Later ,changed to a sail winch servo. The Spiderwire goes from the winch to the pulleys thought the deck and to then to the tiller.

Helmsman, round up and make your heading full and by the wind.
