The above pictured 90 headstones were installed in the winter / spring of 1996. Their names have been recovered from the depths of the "unknown". New headstones have arrived to reflect the total of 123 that we now know died here. Installation has been completed. The stones have been installed in an orderly manner for the cemetery and do not reflect the actual burial sites of the soldiers as this will never be known. However, thermal imaging is showing us where actual graves are located and "Unknown" headstones will be installed at each grave in the actual orientation in which the men were buried.
