Here's the seventh entry in my Featured Game series. You will find on this page:

A double board puzzle, using a position taken from the game. Try to find a way for Gnejs and SkyShark to force mate.

Featured Game #7:

Impasse

Without doubt, the most striking feature of this month's game is its unusual finish. However, there is also a noteworthy subplot in that a bot, i.e. a computer programmed to play bughouse, is teamed up with a player who helped create it. SkyShark may not be the strongest bughouse-playing computer around, but, having tried a few games with him (or should I say "it"?) as my partner, I think I can say with certainty that SkyShark is only as good as the human controlling him -- telling him when to move, when to sit, and what to trade. Playing with the bot is an interesting exercise in board co-ordination.

So, how will SkyShark do when a World class player is in control? Well, let's not give away too much... here's the game.
