We are part of the Northwest Georgia Girl Scout Council.
Our troop advisers are Becky and Merilyn.
This year our troop joined the Dream Catchers Service Unit.
This is our 4th year as Troop 1375. Our troop crest is the Falling Star.
It is a symbol of good luck and makes wishes come true.
Our girls decided to paint Junior troop tee shirts this year.
The girls painted girls like the ones below on their tee shirts
and added embroidered metallic gold and silver stars to them.
The girls also will be making troop hats to match their tee shirts.

MEET THE STARS OF OUR TROOP!
ALICIA
Hi my name is Alicia. I'm ten years old and in the fifth grade. I take
piano lessons and I am in the chorus at school. My hobbies are collecting
dolls, doll house miniatures, beanie babies and ponies. I used to have two mice
named Honey and Sweety. But they both died. Now I have a newt and
fish and a parakeet named Kitsa. I like Girl Scouts becaused we do lots of fun things. My favorite
activity last year was a trip to Shady Grove Dude Ranch in Mentone Alabama.

KAYLA
Hi, my name is Kayla! My favorite color is purple. I just love Winnie
the Pooh. Have you seen the movie "The Titanic"? It was the best!
I have many hobbies. Two of them are collecting dolls and spoons.
I perform ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics. I started performing
when I was two. My two pets are a cat named Snow and a dog named Bear.
I love Junior Girl Scouts because we do so many cool things - our troop
is always plannig fun activites to explore!

Hi! My name is Amy. I live with my dad, mom, and my two
older sisters. I also have a bird named Cloudy. My
favorite color is green. My favorite subject is reading.
I collect glass figures. I like being in Girl Scouts
because we do a lot of fun things.

KATIE
My name is Katie. I am in Junior Girl Scout Troop 1375.
I am in the fifth grade. My hobbies are playing soccer and
other sports. I play saxophone in the 5th grade band.
My favorite food is macaroni and cheese; my favorite drink
is coke. My sister, Jean, is in third grade. She also plays
soccer. My dog's name is Auggie. He is a Louisiana
Catahoula Leopard Cowdog. We adopted him from a shelter last
October, so we don't know anything about his past. One thing
that I do know is that my family loves him a lot.

My name is Laura and I'm 10 years old. I'm in Troop 1375.
I have a sister named Kelly who is 8 years old. I also have
two dogs and a cat, Christy, Sassy, and Valentine. I was born in
Jacksonville, FL, Then I moved to Tampa, Fl and now I'm here in
GA. Last year my teacher named was Mrs. Bunch. I'm going into the
fifth grade. I take jazz and acro. My favorite animals are cats.
