David was born on a farm in
rural Kentucky. He knows what it means to milk a cow by
hand and plow a corn field with a mule because he has been
there and done that. He also understands modern agriculture
because he has three college degrees in agriculture. He
has worked his entire career in the field of agriculture.
He has always been proud to be a part of agriculture. He
can make farmers and agribusiness people feel proud to be
a part of our great agricultural system.

From Poverty to Prosperity: Education
Was the Key
From a poverty-stricken rural
farm youngster with little self-confidence and low self-esteem,
David relates what education has meant to his life. He tells
of teachers who directed him, were role models, and encouraged
him to stay in school and live up to his fullest potential.
The audience may shed a tear when he relates how teachers
have touched his life.

If It Is To Be, It's Up To Me: I Can
Make a Difference
Many times it is difficult to
connect with an audience of youth. But David uses learning
the auctioneer's chant to hold their attention while giving
them many lessons of life about goals, values, ethics, and
patriotism. He will have the youth on the edge of their
seats riveted to every word.

Levity and Lessons From Vietnam
David served in Vietnam. He
tells of some poignant and humorous experiences while serving
in the military during this era. He relates how the Vietnam
experience instilled in him a greater sense of pride and
gratitude for being an American and how lessons learned
in the military and Vietnam can apply to your family, business,
or profession. Your chest will swell with pride as David
ends his presentation with "A Salute to the Flag".
You will laugh. You will cry. You will feel proud to be
an American.

Facing Midlife
With Laughter
We are all aging. We cannot
ignore that we are aging because of the physical changes
taking place in our bodies and the fact that there is always
somebody around who seems to take pleasure in reminding
us that we are growing older. The question we must ask ourselves
is this: Do we want to become bored, unhappy, and humorless
people, or do we want to continue to enjoy life like we
can? Through humor, inspiration, and motivation, Dr. Hunter
shows us that midlife can be one of the most rewarding,
gratifying periods of our life.
