This 5 generation picture was taken about 1960.  My Dad (LaGrande Asay) is on the top-left, then me (Gerald E. Asay), then my grandmother, (Fern Adams Asay), and my Great-Grandmother Adams.  The baby is my daughter (Darlene Duvall), at about one year old.

The "ASAY RANCH" is really not a "ranch." It is our home. What made us think of calling it the "Asay Ranch" was many years ago, when I was a teen, my grandfather (Ernest Asay) used to talk about ASAY TOWN, near Hatch, Utah.  Only in those days, he called it the "Asay Ranch." It's sure too bad I didn't take the time to listen to those stories. There was a lot of history in everything he said.

Speaking of History, you should make it a point to view "Asay Trails"in this series.  It has a "Must See" poem that all Asays should read, copy, etc., etc.
