Lunarcast for the New Moon in Aries

New Moon in Aries: April 14 ~ 8:29 a.m. ET
Full Moon in Scorpio: April 28 ~ 8:18 a.m. ET

Aries: March 18-April 19 *

Since the ball is obviously in your court, you have the right of first refusal. Just be sure that if you commit to something, you intend to follow through all the way, with no excuses. The financial pot has been sweetened and will continue through the 24th. Keep those eggs set aside for now. Continue to exercise your muscle as director of the show. That role subsides in early June. Take to the neighborhood from the 25th forward. The bumble bees would like some company. Keep your eyes on finances during the full moon phase, especially money that is owed.

Taurus: April 20-May 20

This is the time to sit down and have an in depth conversation with your inner self. You’re in the process of closing out a phase of your life as you prepare for a new one right around the corner. As you look back, what have you learned? What would you do differently if put in the same position? This is not to presume that you have hindsight from the results. Just explore what you wouldn’t mind doing over. It might give you some good insight and confidence to venture down a new road the next time an opportunity arises. The full moon gives you the perfect chance to bounce ideas off others.

Gemini: May 21-June 20

If you’re thinking it, the chances are your friends are, too. The only thing is, they’re waiting for someone else to pick up the phone and propose the idea. Since you’re the sign of the communicator, it’s only right that you set the ball in motion. Once you do, it will have a life of its own. We’re not talking a constant party, mind you – just one major get-together to celebrate the season. The rest of the time, contentment arises from listening to restful music. You’ll appear awfully flirtatious as of the 25th, even if you’re not aware of sending signals.

Cancer: June 21-July 20

For a brief period of time you may feel like the folks at the top have gone off the deep end. But that won’t last long. You’ll find lots of support among your colleagues, so don’t freak out. What you do need to watch are your finances. There’s a flurry of activity there and you need to be vigilant. Things start easing up around the 25th. When selling your agenda to the outside world, the last thing you need to do right now is sell yourself short. It won’t help your cause, so be gutsy. If there’s someone special in your life, drop a subtle hint to them during the full moon phase.

Leo: July 21-August 20

Sometimes there really is truth to the saying that the grass is greener on the other side. So get thee to the other side, like the other side of the country or the planet. The farther you stretch yourself, the better you’ll feel. And who says you can’t be productive while traveling? You’re still a loyal soul, so use your persuasive skills to convince those in charge that you don’t mind multitasking. Friends fill up your social calendar in a hurry so check with them before making plans of your own. Cosmically speaking, it is illegal for the lion’s den to be devoid of the lion or lioness during this full moon.

Virgo: August 21-September 20

As talented as you are, this is no time to keep these gems to yourself. The things you can accomplish when you collaborate are truly remarkable. Your sense of judgment is very keen so don’t underestimate it. This serves you well when dealing with people that others find difficult to read. Progress comes slowly but surely when dealing with people at a distance from you. It may seem like they’re dragging their feet, but there’s a chance that the delay is a natural result of their desire to be thorough. Be aware that a whole new agenda will be rearing its head come June. Get your ducks in a row now, while you have the time. The full moon phase is ideal for curling up with a good mystery.

Libra: September 21-October 20

Your motto tends to be “share and share alike,” and this lunar cycle certainly fits that description. Enjoy the enhanced pleasure of experiencing life with those you love. Seeing the smiles on their faces makes everything worth the journey. When it comes to matters outside of your personal life, seek the practical insight of others. Steady hands are available should you need the guidance. This is particularly true during the full moon phase so volunteer as much information as is warranted. Drama still looms large in the social arena. You could write a book about the last six months alone.

Scorpio: October 21-November 20

A whole new project or person has arisen on the work front and this requires your steady focus. Even if you’d like to be less hands-on, you won’t have that luxury until after the full moon phase in your sign. Hear people out, especially those closest to you. If they’re rehashing the same issues, point that out to them and help them get over the hump. Professionally speaking, ask yourself if you really want to get enmeshed in ego battles. It’s probably not worth it, so leave the battle alone. Money that is rightfully owed shall be returned.

Sagittarius: November 21-December 20

The cosmos is uttering one of your favorite words: Play! In fact, a correction. It’s not uttering, it’s screaming. It’s time to re-enlist in the “eat, drink and be merry” club and be sure you take full advantage of all membership perks. Some of this merriment can’t help but spill into your working environment, since you’re bringing it with you no matter what. Even friends and colleagues from afar feel the energy and are happy to contribute. But remember to bring a little balance into the picture. By the full moon phase you’ll be ready to lay low and confess your sins.

Capricorn: December 21-January 20

There’s one important project on the home front that really needs your undivided attention. Thankfully you possess the fortitude to dive in and make it happen. With any luck you can wrap this up within this lunar month. Poke around for bargains. Your nose will point in just the right direction for those perfect finds. While you’re out and about, take in a movie or even a play – talent is within easy reach. Friends happily share confidential matters during the full moon era.

Aquarius: January 21-February 18

A whole new set of ideas is opening up and is most worthy of your attention. This could be a different source of information, new reading material or media outlet. While you’re exploring new ideas, you might as well include your neighbors. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the impetus you gain from just around the block. Your dealings with folks on the home front are an entirely different matter. They may not be nearly as likely to bend, so be patient. They’ll come around. During the full moon phase you can expect bosses to do some snooping around. Pay attention to the undertow.

Pisces: February 19-March 17

Start off on a new financial footing. If this means soliciting the help of someone with more detailed knowledge, so be it. Once you get a pattern established, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to implement. Make paperwork your friend and get it all organized. Open up your home and air it out. Put the finishing touches on projects begun within the past year, now, while your heart is still in it. Siblings are eager for an update, even if it’s just a quick note. Venture out farther or deeper than usual during the full moon phase.

* Here's the scoop on the beginning dates of each sign:
Because there are 365 or 366 days per year and only 360 degrees in a circle, the sun does not enter a sign on the same day every year. The beginning dates can fall as early as the 18th of the month and as late as the 25th. It just depends on the year that you were born, as to exactly what the beginning date will be. If you're born on the cusp, you'll need to consult your friendly astrologer to find out which sign the sun occupies. The bottom line here is that these dates are not fixed.
