Made primarily of poplar, this custom baby bed weighs almost 200 lbs with 6' tall posts which are 2 1/4 square cross section. Hand painted in multiple coats for a luster finish. It was designed by me, required over 40 hours to complete and was given First Place at the furniture competition of the Woodworkers Guild of Georgia in the spring of 1999. Cost to duplicate: $950.
