MRS. AMANDA MCCONNELL DEAD AT AGE OF THIRTY: INTERMENT AT KETCHALL
Deceased Was A Member Of Methodist Episcopal Church, Of This City.
Mrs. Amanda McConnell died at the home of her brother, in this city, Sunday, Dec 5, at the age of thirty years. She was born in jasper on dec 5th, 1896. Funeral services and interment were at Ketchall, Rev. Paul R. Hodge, officiating. Deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and just before her death gave evidence of the assurance of salvation. Surviving the deceased are a small daughter, Dorothye, and two brothers, J.W. and J.B. Tanner, and two sisters, Lillie Tanner and Mrs. H.P. Clay. She is also survived by a foster-mother, three half-sisters and two half-brothers.
