Hi friend! Come up here on the front
porch and have some shine. Unless, that is,you're a
revenuer- in which case my friend zaze
is liable to give you a 12-gauge haircut. Oh my God here she
comes now. You might wanta keep your head down.
Why doncha hang around for supper. Pappy's
gone to the still to add some sugar and he otta be back soon
if'in zaze don't accidently kill him. He'll probably fish
some squirrels otta the vat and we'll have meat for supper.
Did I tell ya'll about the northerner that stopped by
the other day. Well I offered her a drank and she said she guess
she would have a Manhatten. I mixed her one-half shine
and one-half elder berry wine and she didn't know no different.
That's the happiest yankee I've seed in awhile.
I'm gonna
take a little nap now - you gist sit thar and holler when
pappy gets back. While your're waitin, ya'll might wanta
