	2.	Murphy Hitchcock (John) was born about 1881 in Van Buren 
	Co, TN. He died on Dec 11 1970 in Warren County Hospital and 
	was buried Long Cemetery.

Murphy married (1) Minnie Isabell Grissom, daughter of Sam Grissom 
and Harriet Bouldin, in 1904. Minnie was born on Oct 10 1882 in Van 
Buren Co, TN. She died in May 1952 in Long Cemetery.

Member of the Laurel Creek Baptist Church for 47 years.


Murphy and Minnie had the following children:

				May 4 1909 and died in Feb 1976.

Bessie married J.C. Dillon.

3.	Willie Eldridge Hitchcock (Murphy, John) was born on 
	May 4 1909 in Van Buren Co, TN. He died in Feb 1976 in 
	McMinnville, TN.

Eldridge Hitchcock was the son of Murphy C. Hitchcock and Minnie 
Isabell Grissom Hitchcock. Murphy C. Hitchcock was born about 
1881 in Van Buren County, Tennessee to John and Margaret York 
Hitchcock. Minnie Isabell Grissom was born October 17, 1882. Her 
parents were Sam and Harriet Bouldin Grissom. She died in May 1952.

Murphy and Minnie were married in 1904. In 1958, Murphy married 
Lillie Phifer Barlow. Murphy died in December 1970 and was buried in 
the Long Cemetery. Lillie died in July 1977.
