SOLIDS

Rectangular Solids

Cubes ( all sides are the same length)

Surface Area = 6 times (s times s) = 6(s x s) = 6s²

Volume = s x s x s = s³ {s cubed}

Parallelpiped (looks like a box to me)

Surface Area = 2(ab+ac+bc)

Volume = a x b x c = abc

Curved Solids

Cylinder

Surface Area = 2 x pi x r x h = pi(2rh) {if you don't count the ends}

Surface Area = pi(2rh) + 2(pi)r² {including the ends}

Volume = pi x r²h = pi(r²h)
